A truly remarkable variety of "country" things to see & do on the Summer Rendezvous weekend July 10 & 11, 2010 - 10 am - 5 pm

  • George Pegg Botanic Garden: Open both days - Activities and crafts for children; Horticultural topic: What to plant in sun or shade; bird watching, nature trails & perennial plan sale; Sunday: Pancake brunch 11 am - 1 pm - musician Connie Lefebvre 1 - 2 pm; draw
  • Onoway Museum: Open both days - July 10th - hero display plus "Living through the 30's" ... July 11th - ice cream sundaes and plus float shop 1 pm to 4 pm (charge in effect)
  • Newman Retreat Farm & Store: Open 1 Day Only - Sunday, July 11th - Sale on Gifts/Books/Crystals. Draw your own discount...Toys for Boys display on collectable vehicles...drumming with Jay...FREE Reiki session for those that know at least "three" names of our nature trail walks...refreshments
  • Forget-me-Not Greenhouses: Open both days until 6 pm -"Guessing Game" with perennials, if you guess all 5 then you take them home...food and beverage in greenhouse
  • Inspired Market Gardens: Open both days - "Field & Flowers Day" with garden tours, children activities and a bee specialist on Sunday...Giant SALE in the greenhouse
  • Walkin' Tall Elk Ranch: Please note: We are not open for Summer Rendezvous event, we look forward to seeing you in November!

The Rural Rendezvous Tour is a Self-Guided Country tour  which consists of 12 dynamic rural businesses. Throughout the year, these businesses join together to provide a unique Country experience. This tour is self-guided so you can pick which direction you want to go and who you would like to visit. You are in the driver's seat! Grab a map and join the fun.
